The multi-site problem
As a business grows, its energy grows in pieces. Each site arrives with its own supplier, its own contract end date and its own billing quirks. The result is familiar:
- Contracts ending at different times, so you are always renewing something and never negotiating as one buyer.
- Sites drifting onto out-of-contract rates because nobody had the date in the diary.
- No single view of what you use, what you pay or which meters you have.
- Billing errors repeated across many accounts, which add up quickly.
- Metering contracts (MOP and DC/DA) and half-hourly data nobody owns.
How we help
- A meter register. Every site, meter, supplier and end date in one place.
- Aligned contract dates. We bring sites onto common end dates over time, so you can tender the whole portfolio together.
- One tender, broad panel. Procurement across a broad panel of suppliers, independent and not tied to any of them, fixed or flexible where the volume justifies it.
- Bills checked across every site. Bill validation and billing disputes handled for you.
- Metering sorted. MOP and DC/DA contracts and half-hourly data managed.
- Water too. Business water across your sites, including Scotland.
- One accountable adviser and fees disclosed at quote stage. See how we are paid.
Opening, closing or moving sites?
New sites, closures and change of tenancy are where costs slip through. Tell us early and we will set up or close supplies on the right terms.
Who we work with
Retail and hospitality groups, manufacturers with more than one plant, food and drink producers, multi-academy trusts, property and facilities managers, and charities with several premises. See our case studies and sector pages for hospitality, manufacturing and property and retail.
Common questions
Can you align contracts that end on different dates?
Yes. We plan the renewals so that sites move onto common end dates over one or two cycles, without leaving any site exposed to out-of-contract rates.
Do all our sites have to move to one supplier?
No. We tender the portfolio as a whole and set out the supplier options for your sites, which can mean more than one supplier.
Is flexible buying suitable for a multi-site business?
It can be once your combined volume is large enough. We explain the options in our fixed or flexible guide.
Can you take over contracts mid-term?
Yes. We can start by mapping and checking what you have now, then plan each renewal as it comes up.
Benchmark your portfolio
Send us a site list or a recent bill from each site. We will map your contracts and end dates and show you where the savings and risks are.
